I don't make it to CNC very often any more due to physical limitations but this place is amazing and I'm hoping it is still well hiked!! Red wing trail!! Not 5 stars because the aforementioned trail is ALWAYS muddy! Bring old shoes and you'll have a blast!
I love it here!!! Been coming here since I was little and it gets better every year!! The staff truly cares about the environment and being good stewards to inspire their guests to care about their local environment too. They have trails for all skill levels and their events are unique and absolutely amazing!!!
Absolutely loved it.
We went on September 25 and entry was free. It’s usually 10$ per adult. It’s perfect for learning about plants if you are a student. Good way to build bond with family and just enjoy.
There is a guesthouse for all your occasions as well. And a large park for picnics. I just loved it
There was a market for artists and there is an art store you can get some cute stuff.
There is a section for kids to explore.
Many miles of hiking trails with varying intensity, from easy to moderately difficult, mostly from elevation... Trails themselves are very well marked and maintained. Couple areas that require crossing a creek using rocks, but most crossings have a built bridge. Saw deer, butterflies, and even a hummingbird!
I've made the west to east side trek over here a few times, and always enjoyed it. We hike the many excellent trails and enjoy that they are uncrowded. When you do run into someone else, they are quite friendly. If we lived closer we would certainly have a membership. The Cincy Nature Center is a fantastic, serene getaway from everyday life. Highly recommend!
