Casual restaurant atmosphere with a decent selection on the menu. Staff checked on table often and food came out in a reasonable time. Pretzels tasted great, pulled pork sandwich was okay. Price seemed fair.
We stopped here for lunch on our drive between Columbus and Cincinnati and enjoyed the experience. We both got burgers (I had the patty melt, which was very good). The place is cool and our server was friendly and helpful.
Service was slow but they seemed understaffed. Everything else was amazing. Lugnuts appetizer is really good and the ranch is super tasty. The mack truck cavatelli was so cheesy and I added Nashville hot chicken to mine which was the perfect combo. They forgot to add my pickles which was disappointing but I didn't bring it up because I had my food for like ten minutes before the bartender came back (we sat at the bar). Chicken club was also really good! The hot dog was tasty but nothing super special. We learned they do a big bluegrass show there so we def plan to come back and will absolutely stop into Ralph's!
Went to Ralph's to see for ourselves after reviews were all over.
We could smell the grill walking up and it smelled great! The interior is very well done and inviting, documenting Ralph Larry and the R and L trucking history.
We were seated right away to a table with the last meal still on the floor, but it was cleaned up right away by our waitress. We were offered the (Chinese) buffet that is nearly tucked into a truck trailer, but opted to try the menu instead.
Lug nut app was really good. We had two burgers and the kiddo had the PB&J sandwich. We love this type of french fry and the burgers were both good. Little over cooked but not complaining.
There was a huge selection of adult drinks and really good representation of local brews, absolutely zero complaints.
My only complaints were the floor which got fixed and the sometimes absent staff which gives the impression of slow. A waitress from one table over won't help you. I do wish there was some background music or noise to break the silence. I'd go back, but it's also not super close.
The Taco Buffet was so delicious! Both the chicken & beef were grilled beautifully and the rice/beans, great! The guacamole was top notch! The churros were cooked perfectly, crispy outside with chewy inside and the super spicy hot fudge was a huge surprise! We will be back on Taco Tuesday for sure!
Still a few kinks in the ordering of a bottle of wine.
