Dr Foglietti and his staff are the absolute best. I was so nervous about my procedure and worried about how I would look. I can’t believe I waited so long and stayed in pain for all this time. I should have come to see Dr Foglietti years ago!!! Not only is he an amazing surgeon, he is also focused on patient care and comfort. He took the time to explain every detail of the procedure as well as the healing process. He set very realistic expectations and made sure I knew my risks. I appreciated how honest and transparent he was. No promise of miracles or false hope. The first time I took off bandages- I wanted to cry. I got super emotional. Even with all the sutures and yucky bandages, I looked amazing and felt sooooo much better. As I am healing, I am more and more impressed with how little scaring I have. I haven’t even started my scar creams yet since I’m still healing. I have extreme anxiety and hate hospitals. He and his team were so understanding and helpful and kept me focused. I was so at ease going into the operating room. This being my only operation in my lifetime, I can’t compare my experience to another surgeon, but I would not consider anyone else if I needed any help in the future.
