  Thank you! Dan, Jeremy, and Justin. Jeremy hooked me up with the proper line and sink tips for my new switch rod and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The CRO shop is nicely appointed and has pretty much anything you need to fly fish northeast Ohio and beyond. Just took a guided trip with Justin for swinging flies and we did fantastic and caught allot of nice steel, my first on the swing with my new set up. There aren’t enough words to describe my admiration for Justin, a true professional and a gentleman. We’re blessed to have so many unique stewards of our sport. He demystified the Spey world for me as a regular fly fisher and had me chucking flies like a pro and catching fish pretty much the whole day with my new gear. Thanks again!

  I have used 9 guides across 5 states fishing trout/reds. Did not know anything about CRO except they were close to where I wanted to fish for steelhead coming off Lake Erie. Got ahold of Dan, the owner, and eventually was paired with our guide, Jeremy. I cannot express how GREAT he was. Polite, arrived early, was concerned that we caught fish, and learned more about how steelhead migrate and what to look for in the river. Too many guides I have had, adopt the "Oh well, guess there not biting today" attitude, even if you barely get a bite. We caught 5 steelhead in 5 hours on the Ashtabula. One was a monster. He grilled bacon cheeseburgers on the shoreline and made fresh jet-boiled coffee. The most I usually get for lunch is a sandwich, chips and a water. Jeremy is in the Top 2 guides I have ever experienced - and will specifically request him when up that way again.

  Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection. Not as big as an Orvis store but they have the fishing and fly tying items you need for the area. I've bought many flies, a reel, line, a box, and gotten lots of local advice.

  The shop has very helpful people with good local fishing insights, as well as a good selection of flies and gear.
  
  They arrange a guide for me for steelheading, and the fishing was awesome.
  
  Mike was an excellent guide: knowledgeable about the fish and the river, patient with someone hasn’t gone fly fishing in forever (and never like this!), and very friendly.
