“This is a nice house. I went here to go on a tour of it and was satisfied with my experience. The tour started in the gift shop across the street and went into the house through the front door. Once we were in the house, we went into the kitchen, and living room, then up the stairs to the second floor, where we went into the bathroom and the bedroom that the kid from A Christmas Story slept in (I forgot his name). After we went in his room, the tour group went into the back yard and then back to the gift shop, thus ending the tour. I gave this house five stars because it has been preserved to be exactly like it was in the movie. It’s also a nice house and I wouldn’t mind living there.”

“Came here on a referral and was blown away by service and friendliness. These are the kind of guys you want working with your vehicles. Due to a misunderstanding on my part I showed up too close to closing time and had a tough project with some low profile tires on 22 inch reverse mount rims. Ray figured it out and got it done and stayed an extra half hour after close in order to finish them for me. Left with mounted and balanced wheels and no scratches or anything. “Getting to stay in the Bumpus house along with touring the Christmas Story house and museum was the highlight of our trip. We are definitely Christmas Story nerds so this was a dream come true. The stay in the house was awesome. We were able to watch the movie while we played the Christmas Story game. The property was extremely nice and very clean. Very tasteful vintage décor while still offering updated amenities. We had dinner & breakfast at the Rowley Inn across the street and it was some of the best food we had on our trip. We travelled over a thousand miles for this and it was so worth it. If you are a Christmas Story fan this needs to be on your list of must do things.”
