“The interim pastor Reverend Allan Lane is a nice guy. I called this church from Cleveland, Ohio needing help, I'm not in Brecksville. He didn't say "call 2-1-1 or Love Inc" He didn't say "I'm sorry, your not a member at our church" He didn't say anything like " you need to live in Brecksville, He said "I can help you, come to the church tomorrow and bring the shut off notice with you, We can help you." It's hard to find help and I believe GOD will bless churches who help people when they can without questioning them or their needs.”

“So, I'm an atheist. I give my mother 2 days a year to bring me to church. It is usually Mother's Day and Christmas Eve. This year, she chose Pleasant Hills. It was a slow service, and there was a lot of sitting and standing. You could tell that the people there were committed, though. The people behind us looked angry with us for just being there. While I'm an atheist, I am never rude. I respect people's right to religion. Otherwise the people were very, very nice. Maybe another instrument for the songs would liven it up? But hey, if they enjoy it the way it is, that's great! I wish them all the best.”
