Building Blocks Therapy

I loved my sons experience at building blocks! We recently said goodbye after being there for about a good 2 years because they no longer offer part time schedules that accommodates our needs. Everyone here is super loving, caring and informed! Your child will be in great hands and the improvement my son made was amazing! I will say maybe a little more structure could be in place but I also played a role in that not asking enough questions and expressing my sons needs! Still would give a billion stars if I could!

I have had such a positive experience at Building Blocks Therapy. I have worked at the Highland Heights location for the past 3 years, first as an RBT and now as a BCBA. The company helped me grow greatly professionally and I am grateful for all of the trainings and opportunities I am given to professionally develop. I've worked at a couple of ABA and special education settings and this one is the best by far! The amount of toys and materials allocated for therapy is extremely generous, so the clients all have fun and can enjoy themselves while they learn. Also, there's a lot of continuous professional development - weekly whole center meetings, weekly BCBA meetings, daily collaboration, etc. This is honestly the highest-quality center for ABA therapy in the area.

Building Blocks is a fulfilling and fun place to work! The training and experience you will receive in 1:1 ABA is useful no matter if you plan to stay in the field and get your BCBA or if you plan to only stay for a few years. ABA therapy has changed drastically since its inception - many people with ASD have voiced their traumatic experiences. I truly think Building Blocks takes a compassionate care approach and treats their clients with dignity and respect. You’ll grow to love your clients and look forward to seeing them everyday. The job can be draining and stressful when your client has a hard day, so self care is important throughout your time with the company.
