The Renaissance Retirement Campus

I moved to The Renaissance in October 2017. I have enjoyed living here and am so glad I made this decision. Everyone here is friendly, kind, and interesting. The food is excellent and there are many enjoyable activities in which to participate. The campus is peaceful and beautiful. The staff is attentive to our needs and responsive to requests that we make no matter how large or small. Recently the Renaissance added a pool and upgraded its fitness area so that there are water and class exercises designed for a mature population. There are many other advantages of living at the Renaissance that can be seen and experienced by visiting The Renaissance.

My mother lived at The Renaissance almost 30 years ago, and I remembered how lovely it was. Now faced with health issues, my husband and I did an extensive search of the continuous care communities on Cleveland's west side, and this was our #1 choice. We moved here in May 2021, and have been impressed by this friendly, active campus which is always expanding and modernizing. The food is delicious (and I'm a picky eater), and every staff member has been helpful in getting us settled. Our neighbors immediately welcomed and included us. Everything we need is right here!

Is cozy with a wonderful view of the campus and one of the ponds. I felt like part of a family almost immediately after I moved here. It’s very easy to make new friends with many of the same interests. A person can be as busy as you want to be. I have enjoyed the exercise classes and the new pool as well as game afternoons! The staff plans outside activities (especially after Covid) that take us out for special lunches, dinners, and fun excursions. The food is outstanding! No more cooking, if you don’t want to!!!! My advice is to move here when you can still enjoy everything that is offered! It takes the stress out of living when you know that you will be well taken care of when you can no longer take care of yourself!

I have made the Renaissance Independent Living Apartments my home for over four months. I did an extensive search before choosing Renaissance. There are many reasons why I am so comfortable here. I'll list just a few.
Tho located in a mostly residential area and very close to Great Northern Shopping Center, the grounds (which include three connected ponds) are country like and very well maintained. I have a small dog, and we enjoy the dog park which far exceeds any I have seen at other retirement communities. The residents and staff are very friendly and try to make everyone comfortable. The activities on and off campus are numerous.
Very important to me was the location and layout of my apartment. I love it. Last I will applaud the chef. The food is delicious.
