I purchased a used portable concentrator and it worked fine until it stopped 2 weeks ago. I tried calling several suppliers in my local area and none would work on them. Finally one of them gave me Repair Authority’s number. I called and was very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. I live in Kentucky, about 5 hours from them, so they gave me mailing instructions.
They let me know when they received my concentrator, then sent an email the next day itemizing the repair and cost. They fixed and shipped back to me in one additional day. The turnaround was fast and my concentrator is working great. I would highly recommend this company. They understand how people who require supplement oxygen need their equipment fixed quickly. I give them 10 stars!!!
I spoke with several companies in the Cleveland area, trying to find a business to repair my bi-pap. Because I did not buy the machine from them, they would not even diagnose it. Finally, after many calls, I contacted an oxygen equipment supplier they suggested I contact Repair Authority. One call, and I was able to have my machine looked at and fixed. They sent me an information sheet containing every aspect of what I needed to know, costs for inspection, replacement parts, labor, shipping, handling, a form for a description of the problem, a contact number, and turnaround time. Totally satisfied with the service I received on my portable oxygen concentrator. I received the quote in a timely fashion, they kept me informed of their progress and my unit was returned with excellent packaging. My machine is now as good as new. Highly recommended.
It was a most pleasant experience person interactive wise. They were friendly and very personable. They impressed me as a customer focused organization. That was why I was a little disappointed when I paid the bill. I took my CPAP in for a heater repair, which they did, but I discovered on the detailed receipt, which admittedly was also the quote I should have looked at more closely when they sent it to me, it included other things that were like general maintenance items that I didn't need. A filter change for example, was $9, when I had just changed it and I had a zillion of them in my drawer at home. Replacement of a blower assembly, which I never had a problem with. IT is kind of like taking your car in to put air in your tires and getting an oil change and transmission flush without you requesting it. A better solution would have been to point pout in the cover email that they found some other stuff that should be looked at.
So, I would not at all have a problem using them again, I would just read the estimate more closely before approving it.,
