Sangria Y Tapas

My girlfriend and I went there for lunch. I had Chilean sea bass & my girlfriend had grouper. It was DELICIOUS! Our waiter was very professional, nice & he knew a lot about the red wines. We had a Porto, which is a after dinner wine. It was very good. The Tiramisu for dessert was fabulous. I can't wait to go back!!!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Cleveland! The food is always fresh, prepared perfectly, and the presentation is beautiful. Cocktails are made well and wine selection is good. The building, dining room and bar are nothing fancy, but the beautiful patio is the place to be if weather permits. Long time servers always are very personable and a master at providing a memorable dining experience.

I've lived in Westlake just over 2 years, and hadn't been here... let me tell you what a mistake that was... this place is amazing!! I was NOT expecting it!! The staff was great, my waiter had the PERFECT personality for customer service, the ambiance was great, and the food... oohh the food... I am not a fan of seafood so I got a steak well done... it came out perfect! And the mushroom wine reduction was amazing! I wanted to lick my plate! My friends ordered the seafood stew and I must admit, the sauce was superb! The stuffed banana peppers tasted just like the ones my grandma made!! I cannot rave enough about this place! Lemonchello and espresso for dessert... I left so full... I will be devouring my leftovers very shortly!!

My husband and went to Sangria with my brother and sister-in-law on a visit to Cleveland. What a superb decision!

This restaurant gets 5 of 5 across the board. Expert staff, so friendly and knowledgeable. Very friendly, but not at the expense of professionalism.

The food was wonderful. There were so many choices it was hard to decide, both Spanish/Portuguese and more American style choices.

We started with frozen strawberry margaritas, which were very refreshing. We then chose hot Tapas plates of carpaccio de carne with Manchego cheese, and grilled octopus. Succulent. My husband and I also had the garlic soup, which was delectable and perfectly seasoned.

Main entrée choices were rib eye steak, a feast of the sea platter, baby rack of lamb, and a meat sampler plate. Just about everything was cooked to perfection, although the medium-rare steak was cooked a bit more on the medium side, while still tender and juicy. The portions were plentiful and very satisfying.

Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert. But to our surprise, our waiter brought complimentary glasses of Portuguese port wine after dinner! It was perfect. Smooth and flavorful and the perfect way to end this evening. This was truly a night, an experience, a dinner to remember... We will return.

Tonight I had an amazing culinary experience at Sangria Y Tapas Restaurant and Bar. Spanish & Portuguese cuisine, family style. Talk about something good! Every single thing we had was being delicious. Scalia scallops and shrimp topped with crab meat and cheese, fish tacos, seafood stuffed salmon, apple blossom martini, and pistachio cheesecake. So divine.. The service was impeccable. 5 stars across the board. Thank you Vladimir for the invitation.
