“One of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. Each and every Mas is full of love and joy and you can see it affect each and every person who attends. Every homily is filled with warmth, love, and inspiring information. If you are looking for a place for a possible wedding, this is the place. Everyone is extremely accommodating and willing to help in anyway to make this beautiful church, your dream wedding. I could go on and on about the priest as they are absolutely amazing with everyone and they know how to get across to people of all ages in every homily. Also, the priests are always more than willing to talk if you ever need anything. The members of this church keep growing due to this, I am not the only one passing along such amazing “reviews”. People from all over drive miles and miles just to attend the services.”

“I decided to visit Assembly Baptist Church on Mother's Day, May 2010 ---I belong to another church and Assembly is my mother's church home. I had not visited the church previously. From the moment I entered, I felt enveloped in the Love of Jesus Christ. I remember the spirited choir singing as I walked down the aisle to my seat. As I walked in, heads turned only slightly with smiling faces. I did not feel as if I was being judged on my appearance. I did not feel ignored. I did not feel like a stranger. I felt welcome on the strength that I chose to worship my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in their midst and that they were happy for my decision. Pastor Manning spoke of families, emphasizing mothers of course, as it was Mother's Day, recalling a time when every adult female seemed to be somebody's mother. Remembering back when eyes always seemed to be upon you, and how your own mother seemed to know your every move while you were out of her sight even though she may not have left the house all day ... Contrary to the popular myth of the collection plate always being passed in the church, the collection plate was passed only twice in succession at Assembly-- once for the benevolent and another for the tithes/offerings. Your choice, as at any church, to give or not to give. I have always felt that giving is between you and God, and that He makes it very plain in His Word how He feels about tithing/offerings ... After the service, I was warmly greeted by Pastor and First Lady Manning and a number of the Assembly Baptist Church congregation. If you are searching for a Bible teaching church home with the Love of Christ, where you can feel free to praise/worship as the Holy Spirit leads, to speak intimately with the Pastor or First Lady without pretense, and most importantly receive the Word of God, please consider visiting Assembly Baptist Church. After all, it's all about HIm, not you. You will be glad you did. ”
