Delaware County Fair

I was there for the dog show. It's rather cramped for the show but I enjoyed it anyway. A nice place to get a close look at the different breeds of dogs.

What a gorgeous day to hit the fair! Some new food options, rides seem better laid out, the new building is nice too! The only downer was watching two separate incidences of accessibility issues - 1. The crushed asphalt all over the midway made it impossible for a family to get a wheelchair through. 2. Watched another family have to stand their loved one up out of a wheelchair to get the chair over the electric cord safety covers. We can do better, Delaware!

Fun as always attending the Little Brown Jug. Weather was colder than I can remember & wasn't very lucky with the horses but it's always a great day watching the best harness racing. My favorite walleye sandwiches were good too.

Being an employee for Meijer, we get to support the livestock auction every year. Everyone is very gracious and thankful for the support. Can't wait until next year!

They had a great County Fair! $7 per adult included the parking. Had good food trucks. I set aside $20 for food/ drinks. I got 1/2Lb burger, fries were fresh and crunchy, bottled pop and later a water to drink. Still had a couple bucks left over for fresh cotton candy.
Carney games are always loaded against you but had fun parting with my money anyhow. :)
Lots of show animals to see. Watched some horses warm up for races later. It was a fun day outside with a couple thousand of my closest Delaware County friends. :)
