Bella Care Hospice

NO better agency than Bella Care. The staff (especially nurse Carrie and Chaplain Len) were outstanding & I couldn't have asked for more! They were an extra set of eyes & provided incredible care of Mom & also to our family. When it was apparent that the end was approaching, they spent the day with us right beside Mom. They provided support and love to us all. I will never be able to repay their kindness. Thank you all very much!

My mom was with hospice for about a month as her condition deteriorated more quickly than anticipated. The communication about her status and plan of care was excellent and the level of care she received was outstanding. Nurse Nicole was a Godsend, knowing what was needed before we knew we needed it, providing excellent nursing care, and much needed emotional support. Nicole worked tirelessly to give my mom the physical comfort and emotional peace she needed. Her extensive medical knowledge, excellent skills, and caring heart brought peace of mind, allowing my family and my mom to let go in peace and serenity. Nicole truly has a gift for her vocation, and we are thankful for all she did for us. Bob, the nursing assistant, performed her personal care with dignity, she always looked well cared for. Chaplin Steve and the social workers visited frequently to offer us support if needed and followed up with me shortly after my mom’s passing. I am thankful for the compassionate, family centered care we received.

From the moment I signed on with Bella Care for my mother, I had daily communications from staff regarding her care plan and status. She never looked and smelled so clean and fresh and comfortable. It didn't matter what time I called someone loving answered the phone to comfort me. They would call me from her room and put their cell phone up to her ear so I could say goodmorning and goodnight. They called me the minute she passed and assured me they were heading over to bathe and clothe her and get her ready for transport. (that was 1am) Since she passed this past Monday I have received two calls from Chaplain Steve offering condolences and comfort. Kudos to Nicole, Kristin. Chaplain Steve, Bert and all the others that made this very traumatic time for me much more comfortable. I would give you 10 stars if I could!!
