Castalia Quarry,

Great little spot to get away & connect with nature

Whenever I travel to the area with my pup this is a must. There is so much to explore. You can come over the course of a few days and take a different path every time. It is nice and quiet and never overly packed.

What a lovely hike around the outside of the quarry! More shade here. It's mostly all rock with the sun reflecting off the rocks so it's very hot and the sun is intense! Lather on the sun screen and take more fluids to drink than usual!!

Loved the hike. It was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't believe we have such a gem in Ohio. The 🚻 were horrible but better than nothing. I almost vomited it smelled so bad. Bathrooms need better ventilation. Multiple Trails to choose from.

I love walking here. I feel you can have both moderate and easy trail walking here. It never feels over crowded in the evening but you will most likely say hi to a few people while doing your walk.
