I love Father Pete and this congregation so much. This is the most caring and Jesus like congregation

From the first time I came here, I felt a strong presence of the Holy Spirit at Mass. In a very short time, I realized the extent of the effort that people of St.Mark's give to make this place so amazing. First of all, they truly care about each other and those in their community. Secondly, they ACT on that caring.

St. Mark’s has a great Youth Ministry program, complete with game nights, swim parties and youth Praise and Worship Masses. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and Gospel Weeklies@ are their youth education programs that compliment each other in their PSR.

Their adult groups are very active; groups include Knights of Columbus, Emerald Ladies Women's Group, Food Pantry, Bible studies, RCIA, Social Concerns, prison outreach, and many more ministries!

Additionally, St.Mark's hosts AA, Meals on Wheels Distribution, Red Cross blood drives, an annual Blue Mass, Scouts, voting, is a recycling center, and much more!

All this results in a strong spiritual presence--the staff and congregation's love for their Lord and fellow man, and outreach programs help the young, the elderly, the sick, and the poor--all for the Glory of God. This is what makes St. Mark’s a truly great place.

We have been parishioners at St. Mark since we moved to Lancaster. It is a smaller church than many but the members are just the more personable and welcoming.
Our pastor, Father Gideon, is the founding pastor and a wonderful priest for those who seek a traditional Roman Catholic Church.

If you are looking for a new spiritual home then this is the place. If you aren’t catholic (yet) then you will have the opportunity to experience Mass here and attend RCIA classes if you choose to become catholic. You will not regret it.

Vivat Jesu

Definitely the most welcoming Christian Church in Lancaster, Ohio. The Mass is celebrated with dignity, but is less “formal” than other Churches I have attended. The thing that I love the most about this parish family is their commitment to help those in need. They have an amazing food pantry and engage in all kinds of social outreach programs. The current pastor is a tall Irishman with a boomingly awesome voice. He is very compassionate and supportive of local Faith-based activities. The annual Christmas Cantata is beautiful and, of course, King Cake on Fat Tuesday! If you’re looking for an active parish where you will be treated like one of the family, this is the place for you!

I nice moderate size Catholic church surrounded by a beautiful wooded area and large parking lot. Facility is well equipped for any church related function. The priest their is very good.
