Cash only. First timers tonight. You are greeted, seated, served & cooked for, by owner. Therefore, if you're in a hurry or impatient this probably isn't the place for you. If you're used to 15 dollar dinners, this isn't the place for you. If you want an authentic Italian meal, and don't mind paying for that home made experience then try this place out. Food was outstanding. I can't wait to go back & try the pizza & desserts.
This is a hidden gem. I had the lobster ravioli and it was some of the best Italian food that I’ve ever had. The owner did the cooking, serving and bussing. Talked to him for quite a while and was really glad to be able to give him some business. If I lived in Ohio, I’d stop in all the time, but I was just in the area for a few days. Great place for sure 👍🏼
Authentic Italian restaurant right down to the red and white checkered table cloths. Owner is a jovial friendly guy that makes sure you are happy with your meal. A real surprise in Lancaster ohio. But a good one ! We thoroughly Enjoyed our meal. Cash only. Very authentic home style Italian. Would like to try all the dishes offered.
Tried this place based on online reviews and they were correct. Food was absolutely fabulous. If it wasn't impolite, we would have licked our plates clean! Dishes are made to order, and owner will spice to your taste, very accommodating. It's cash only but they have an ATM on-site. Do yourself a favor and give yourself a real taste of Italy 🇮🇹.
This unassuming Italian joint, sandwiched between a Dollar General and a bowling alley, is a food blogger's dream. The chef-owner greets you at the door and starts feeding you before you even order. They don't serve alcohol, so bring your own bottle to enjoy with the house-made bread.
The kitchen is spotless, even a surgeon would be impressed. This isn't fast food or "red sauce" joint. The chef prepares your order to order, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Everything is cooked al dente, and the pasta is perfectly executed.
We tried the braised beef ravioli, lobster ravioli, mushroom ravioli, and ricotta ravioli. The cheese tortellini with blistered tomatoes and garlic. My favorite was the pasta fagioli tonno e cipollotti, a simple but delicious dish of olive oil-packed tuna with red beans.
My wife and I spent the entire drive home talking about how good this place was. It's a hidden gem that would compete with any Italian restaurant in any city.
