I am not a "member" but i attend church here. Anyone who says this is a cult has lost their mind. Far from a cult. I grew up in an evangelical Christian family attending mainstream evangelical churches. I went to a Christian school. I know a LOT about the Bible, theology, various religions and Bible doctrine. This church has fantastic Bible teachings, very true to the Bible with no "denomination" to label it. They take a collection on Sunday like every other church but ask that you don't feel that you have to contribute. I've been asked to join various "in home" study groups but I've always declined because I'm very busy. Noone has ever pressured me. They are warm and welcoming and have solid, Bible based teaching. The thing on Reddit about this being a cult are a joke. Every church encourages you to stay away from bad influences in your life. If you were a drug addict maybe the church leader would suggest that you avoid drug addicted friends, but NEVER ever has anyone told me to "give up my other friends". It's a fantastic church to go to where you don't feel that you have to dress to the 9's on Sunday morning. Just come as you are.
Super affordable prices for a college student! Plenty of seating area and the best cheddar jalapeno bagels in town! :)
Just started attending and feel extremely comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. This is a very welcoming Church with many programs. They are very relaxed come as you are some very well dressed others like me in jeans and T-shirts! We plan on attending frequently and becoming part of a much larger community!
