  I had major foot reconstructive surgery about 3 years ago and my foot is like new! I had seen other doctors (including a highly recommended OSU Podiatrist), and all the rest failed to recognize the extent of the damage to my tendons; rather they kept telling me I had "plantar fasciitis", but could never explain why weeks of physical therapy made no difference. Dr. Szames went the extra mile, and ordered the correct diagnostic measures, resulting in a proper diagnosis. Excellent doctor and friendly office staff.

  Yesterday Dr Szames did my surgery at Mt . Carmel East , a few years ago he did my left and yesterday my right I love this doctor compassion all the way thanks Dr . Szames . Doris danforth

  Dr. Szames did a great job on my foot surgery, and was very professional. I would highly recommend him to my freinds and family. His assistant was very nice as well.

  I saw Dr. Szames for a hammer toe and foot pains making it difficult for me to walk or even wear shoes. He operated on the hammer toe and found arthritis in a couple of other toes due to prolonged damage and treated them as well. Thanks to him I can now wear shoes comfortably and get around more easily. He is very kind and professional as is his staff. They make you feel welcome from the moment you step in the door. I highly recommend his office to anyone looking for a podiatrist.
