Buckeye Self Defense

My son attends this program weekly and we LOVE it! It is not just self defense, but it is respect and responsibility! Wonderful atmosphere for boys and girls alike!

Came to a free women’s self defense learning class held by Scott and really enjoyed the time and the learning the basics of how to protect myself but also understanding a little knowledge of how the human body itself is a weapon and how to use it against predators. Also the importance of self awareness. Very eye opening, helpful and knowledgeable.

Great instructors, great class mates! Every class you can take away something new, even for those of us who aren't terribly athletic. I would encourage everyone to give it a try! The brilliant thing about the way these guys teach is that they can find work arounds for all sorts of issues. Got a shoulder injury? Well, they're going to show you how the principle they teach apply to one handed self defense. Not very strong? They're going to show you how to use leverage. Knee problems? There's a work around for that too. That's just my personal experience, my classmates all have their own stories!

While this location is fairly new, the instructors have been teaching in the area for years. There's a great positive energy and the training is top notch. The classes are fun, but we work hard with one goal in mind: keeping ourselves and loved ones safe.
If you've been thinking about self defense training, at least take their intro class and get a taste of what they do. See you there!

In addition to a solid program, each instructor is able to bring functional & practical applications to an already dynamic system. Any scenario brought to them is specifically addressed. Students of any age or size will leave every class with new knowledge after one heck of a workout in a very fun atmosphere!

For ladies in particular, you will walk away from any class knowing that you’ve got tools in your toolbox and your confidence level will skyrocket. The women-only self-defense seminars will set the bar for what your expectation of a class should be.
