CenterPoint Church - Gahanna

I recently attended the Sunday morning service at CenterPoint in Gahanna . Several greeted & introduced themselves including both the Pastor & his wife, which was very welcoming. The sermon was very good & seem well prepared & studied for. When I can I will definitely revisit this Church.

More acknowledgement of safety precautions could be posted, to limitation of outer parameters, table areas. Practiced by residences using the play area, such as no eating in the play areas to prevent choking, accidents, preserve cleanliness of the park. Parents should be constantly observing each other, especially children playing on the jungle gyms. Am suggesting use of helmets, elbow \ knee pads. People could be required to bring sanitizer, paper towels, cleansing towelettes such as Neutrogena makeup remover to use recreational facilities. Colored ink, dye, paint, etc., has been observed on the tables. Please! wipe tables before & after use. Stray plastic bags could be harming our ecological environment, animals. Am recommending parks be closed shall too much trash should accumulate, til volunteer picks up stray trash.

The pastor has fantastic messages and offers a very dynamic presentation. The music if exceptional-as good as a bigger church. If you want to get involved, there are some good opportunities. This is more of an outreach church, and I think the philosophy is to get involved through service. If you want prayer, I would seek out one of the deacons as they are balanced in their approach. If you are Deaf or HoH, there is interpretation of the music, and a professional interpreter interprets the service. A weakness to date is still high school programing and activities. They are not big enough yet to have a significant population of high school students and college students, but of course at those ages they would be open to involvement in the regular service. There are classes for children through middle school. It is a solid and balanced church in doctrine and practice.
