“Seems like a great parish! I also love the chapel downstairs. However, I signed up to help out at the perpetual adoration chapel as a sub and I’m usually free most often to help in the evenings, when the door to the chapel is locked. I called the parish office and told them I picked up a later time slot and was denied the code to the door, and I was told to walk around and go through the church doors and cut through that way. That worked. But a few weeks later, I signed up to fill in at 9pm on a Saturday, not thinking about it and realizing later that there would be no way for me to get inside this time. Thankfully there was a parishioner outside sitting in his car. He said they weren’t supposed to give the code out. I requested that he just open the door so I could get inside, but he refused to let me in until I could find a confirmation email proving to him that I was supposed to fill in during that hour. It was extremely frustrating. I’m not sure I will fill in anymore without the code because I’m taking a gamble as to whether or not I can even get inside to do my duty that I signed up to do. This is not my parish so I understand I’m not entitled to having the code, but I want to help because of how important Eucharistic Adoration is and I really appreciate having perpetual in the diocese. It’s easy enough for me location wise since I live on the east side. I know it’s a large parish that I doubt is in dire need of people, but I would still suggest being a little less selective of who is allowed to have the code, especially people who are trying to help you. Otherwise, this seems like a really awesome parish!”

“I don’t think I’ve ever left a review until now but felt the need to. I’m from New Albany but make the trip to this location every week! They always have what I’m looking for and I never have to worry about something being out of stock. The staff is friendly and helpful, ESPECIALLY Kim who works the self checkout. She always goes out of her way to grab me a spare cart when I have a few more groceries than will fit the small bagging space. She greets me and everyone with a smile and it’s much appreciated when the grocery store can be super overwhelming for some. This location is always clean and well maintained. Food was delicious 🤤 We ordered veg chowmin and I will definitely recommend to have it. 2nd recommendation is Gobi manchurian. We all were drooling over it. Then coming to kadhai paneer.. it was good. Well balanced spices and taste. Their naan were exceptional as well. Soft and fresh. Also ordered veg Momo but this dish was least favorite amongst us. The service was fast and server took good care of us. I will definitely recommend this place and will be visiting soon.”

“We had been "church shopping" for about 2 years since moving to the Columbus area. Shepherd Nazarene attracted us for several reasons: -They have an awesome kids and youth ministry. This was an important piece when trying different churches because we had one little girl and knew we'd have more kids later. Now we have two and have been pleased with their little church community so far. The older youth appear to be active and invested. It seems like Shepherd offers a variety of experiences for all ages. -All of the staff and other church members/attenders have always been very friendly. The lead pastor was extremely personable during each of our initial visits (and continues to be). -We really like all of the community involvement. -There are neat events too that provide a variety of worship experiences. Overall, we can't be more pleased that we were led to visit Shepherd. We hope you'll visit too and also fall in love!”
