A great experience!! Me and my son loved it I highly recommend checking it out.
Part of adventuring takes you to places you'd might not usually go - and although I don't have any true interest in "traps", the amount of information, history and entertainment that came along with this visit was exceptional! They also have the world's largest and world's most expensive "traps". Everything from Giant bear traps to mouse traps! Get the tour from the owner, or you'll miss a whole lot of fun! Enjoy!
I was very impressed by this museum. Tom Parr, the museum’s founder and owner, was more than willing to show my friends and I around and teach us about his impressive collection of traps and other antiquities. Tom’s hospitality was unmatched, and his museum is a must-see. He is doing an excellent job at preserving a unique part of history. Not to mention, he gifted my friends and I miniature bear traps prior to our departure from the museum! If you are visiting this part of Ohio, I highly recommend you visit the Trap History Museum.
My friends and I came here to see the worlds largest trap and were not disappointed. The trap was amazing and so was Tom Parr, the owner. His trap museum is no joke as he had thousands of traps of every size and or origin and could probably talk to you about them for hours. Even if you have no interest in traps or trapping I suggest visiting the museum as it is just a sight to behold. Not to mention how caring Tom Parr, the trap king, is. As my friends and I were leaving, he tracked us down before we left just to give us a little trap of our own. Thanks Tom, I hope to stop by again in the future.
