“I was there long ago from kindergarten through first grade before my family moved (2004) to different area and public school. We were taught how to navigate Windows PC, learn about sign language, and they have Spanish classes. I apparently was writing Spanish signs to the Mexican workers of our first house in Reynoldsburg from the Spanish I knew! Like don't walk through house with shoes etc. They have church next door and kindergarten in the back parking lot. Back then when I transferred to Granville 2nd grade, Granville did not have early spanish, computer classes, etc. At comparison (fyi in General Granville is a good school district) Granville schools didn't have type classes and Microsoft program navigation till like 5th or 6th and you type one haiku in 3rd. 3rd more projects starting 4th.Things could have changed but who knows.”

“Come for the food, stay for the community. Stopped in with a friend who raves about the menu. My mac 'n' cheese: creamy, rich, flavorful. Asparagus: beautifully al dente. Fried perch: very crisp. Friend had a few special items (ribs, scalloped potatoes): also delicious. I can see why it's a popular take out spot. The atmosphere is standard for a laid-back local strip mall restaurant. Just past that, people seemed to really enjoy each other. Regulars sharing a drink, playing pool, staff laughing and teasing and making people feel welcome. I chatted at the bar with a local councilman who told me why he and his wife love the place - feels like family. Will go again.”

“First time visit to the Hickory House and it won't be the last! Stopped by on a Saturday evening and was told it would be a 20-40 min wait to be seated. We were seated in 20 min. Our server Alexis was just fantastic. Very attentive, super friendly and considerate of her coworkers. The wait for the food after ordering was average for how busy the restaurant was. The food however was far from average. Everything was excellent! From the sweet butter and crunchy bread to the perfectly prepared, smoky, moist, huge rack of ribs, no detail was missed.The BBQ sauce itself, had about 4 distinct flavors...that's a sauce made with care. The loaded baked potato is a delicious, cheesy smoked bacon, homemade sour cream and chive topped, meal by itself! The atmosphere is charming, relaxing and clean. All staff encountered were friendly and attentive. Prices are about average for excellent BBQ. The Hickory House is definitely on my "go to" list for exceptional food and service!”

They bought a dozen or so items, if I remember correctly, at about 2 dollars an item. I wasn't expecting much, and it was headed for donation in the first place. I was happy with the service, turned essentially nothing into something. You can't expect them to pay you what you feel your stuff is worth, new or used. Just because you liked it and bought it , doesn't mean someone else will. If you're going to sell, low expectations= not disapointed, and can leave you open to being plesantly surprised. Just because some Youtuber makes big bucks doesn't mean you will.”

The associates in flooring (I believe Amy and Randy) were 100% on top of their game. They Helped us get exactly what we needed extremely fast and at a great price. On the way out we asked Holly where the hammers were and without blinking an eye she sent us to isle 12. Finally we were greeted with a big smile and an amazing cashier at isle 1. GREAT EXPERIENCE”
