“Located on the east side of Alum Creek, Jeffrey Park is an amazing park in Bexley. Jeffrey Mansion is beautiful but Jeffrey Park is also impressive. The trails are very well maintained and there are plenty of good views of Alum Creek.”

“Very pretty area. We did just short of 8 miles during our visit. Ran into some deer and did some geocaching. It was fairly empty but we did see a few other people, it was chilly during our visit. The trails were mostly paved, some of the smaller ones were not but were still clearly visible. Mostly pretty flat so a decent easy walk.”

“Technically Southern Pines Park does not any longer exist. Cedarwood Elementary School now sits on the property that used to be Southern Pines Park. When they rebuilt the school they took the couple of swings and picnic table and bench out and I guess they just roll that up into part of the school's property about 6 or 7 years ago when they rebuilt the elementary school. The school however does have a very nice playground. And the school itself is a wonderful School. Wonderful building, wonderful teachers and staff, and wonderful students I have been a parent at Cedar Wood for the last 13 years and been there since my oldest started kindergarten oh, she is now a senior in high school and although we do not live in the neighborhood anymore I chose to put my other two children in the lottery to attend Cedarwood instead of the school closest to our neighborhood. Thank goodness they both were able to get in. I can't imagine anyone anywhere else.”

“Lake Osprey is a small area of the Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. Although it doesn't have the amenities of the main part of the park it still is a quiet place to relax and I think that it scenic especially if you walk around the lake.”

“This is one of my favorite hidden gems. There are two issues I have with this spot. The first being it’s not gated in and that there is next to no shade. Neither of those are big problems but just something to note. I really enjoy all the space and there is a ton of room for the dogs to swim.”

“This place was an absolute adventure. I ran across this while walking on a trail. I felt free and enjoyed just being present at this park. It was worth the journey. I recommend the visit. From the bridge art to the trails both high and low, to the treasures left from the past being present to represent the Indians who use to reside there; be in the moment.”

“Its very pretty and serene. Unfortunately I can only give it four stars due to the fact that it used to be a great fishing spot. Now the shoreline is totally overgrown and no banks. Probably purposely "let go", since they just built pricey condos where a field used to be. Progress...ugh :(”

“I just love the location of this place. This morning was my first time there, I very much enjoyed riding the bike trails! It seemed like such a well kept, awesome environment.. & very quiet also! (well at least this Saturday morning it was) but overall I'm happy to have found this park! I will definitely be including this in my weekly routine from here on out. I just love how it's so close to home 😎”

“Did the 2 mile REI River Trail. The trail is great. You can find it on All Trails to follow the trail loops. Lucky for us it had not rained in a while so the trails were dry and well marked. But I can see how they would be muddy and covered with rains and if the river would flow over. So keep that in mind. There is a lot of parking, bathrooms, play area for kids and ample picnic areas. There were a few fire pit areas that would be nice to use. Stopped to enjoy each overlook we came to. Those were a nice touch. Planning on returning in the season to do the longer 5 mile trail (4.9 miles). I recommend you check this out. We went on a Sunday around 11am and there weren’t many people there so it was really relaxing and nice. Our only sad part was all of the trash. The river overflows and deposits all of the trash (mostly plastic) all over the landscape. It was so sad and makes me want to being a trash bag with us the next time to pick up what we can reach.”

“Very small park but is also really cool, has 3 cement blocks set up to look like real rock so that people can rock climb in them. The park also has 2 really nice sand volleyball courts. However the only unfortunate thing is that the courts don't have lights so that people can play at night. All in all a good park though.”
