This would be my dream facility for my mom we live Trumbull county Ohio and has so many problems mainly breathing and needs a lot of care! And I really think she would be happy here so happy! I’m sure it’s an arm and leg I wish I could afford it
In researching places for my mom, I first prioritized the objectives of what would be meaningful for where she is in her aging journey. The goals of a clean and well-maintained physical space, an appropriate range of available activities, and a welcoming and collaborative team on staff, have certainly been met at The Lantern of Chagrin Valley. This latter point is most vital, in my opinion. Team members (regardless of title) working together with mutual respect, friendliness, and helpfulness fosters a sense of stability and sincerity for both residents and their families. In visiting my mom regularly at various days and times, these team characteristics have been consistently evident. My mom is very glad to be at The Lantern of Chagrin Valley – and I am grateful for this treasure of talented, compassionate, and dedicated professionals.
We could not have found a better assisted living facility for our father. Carolyn and her staff are incredibly attentive. The facility is very clean, the outdoor courtyards are beautiful. I would highly recommend the Lantern of Chagrin Valley! If I could give 6 stars --- I would!!
This is a beautiful facility, the staff is very friendly and easy to work with. They are prompt in their communication and are passionate about caring. They understand the challenges faced by people with dementia and have built a facility and program to meet their needs. We need more facilities like these.
My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a tour of this most unique residential assisted living facility. We operate a Home Care Agency and many of our clients have some form of dementia including Alzheimer's. Rick took the time to explain to us what their founder and CEO Jean Makesh is trying to accomplish. I encourage you to visit their website and read Jean's message. Our impression after seeing the facility, talking with the staff and watching the residents is that he and his team have taken that message and fully put it into practice. We have never seen any other place like this.
