Frayed Knot Farm

Emily Pek at the Frayed Knot Farm made my wedding dreams come true! The name is so spot on - she ain't (a)fraid of nothing! I brought my theme (Midsummer's Night's Dream) and my ideas (native biodiversity) to a consultation with Emily and she built the most beautiful floral proposal that it ended up being the color pallete for our bridesmaids dresses and my wedding decor. Everything took inspiration from the florals. I cannot gush enough about the AMAZING work being done at Frayed Knot Farm! I want to move my whole life to Cleveland so I can participate in their CSA bouquet subscriptions. But my new husband says flowers aren't a good enough reason?! What does he know.....

I purchased the CSA from Frayed Knot in 2020. I had unique flowers all summer long. The combinations and types of flowers are unlike any I have ever seen at a store. The flowers were of exceptional quality and always beautiful. Frayed Knot's owner, Emily, adds in thoughtful touches like basil, meaning the bouquet smells good all week.

I feel good knowing that my flowers came from a local farm. Emily is also dedicated to stewarding the land her farm is on. Everything is done by hand and employing regenerative agriculture methods. So the work promotes the well-being of the land.

Emily also creates wearable designs from flowers, not only necklaces and crowns but bracelets and even rings! She designed a ring and bracelet for my birthday.

Just received the most beautiful dried flowers and a hand-made flower crown to decorate my sister's baby shower! We gave away the beautiful dried arrangements for guests who won the games, and they were THRILLED. The flower crown was gorgeous and made my sister feel so special. I also go to Emily for teacher holiday gifts every year for a dried floral mini-wreath. The teachers have said, "this is the most beautiful gift ... the BEST gift.. I received!" Highly, highly recommend Frayed Knot not just because the flowers are special and beautiful but also because of the work Emily is doing to steward the health of the soil and the entire ecology of the land she works on. Support her not only for her beautiful work that is sure to bring you joy, but for tending the land in such a caring way that will have emergent ripple effects for a more beautiful future (Clearly, I'm a fan.).

Emily put together such beautiful greenery for our wedding. She is a creative grower that knows how to capture the essense of nature and bring it indoors. Our wedding guests were complimenting us, saying how our church smelled so wonderfully of eucalyptus, thanks to the greenery we used from Frayed Knot Farm. Her prices were excellent. I cannot recommend her enough!

Emily was amazing to work with for my wedding! She was always very kind, checked in with me frequently, gave me suggestions when needed, extremely knowledgeable, was always prompt with responses, and captured my vision for our bouquets & boutonnieres PERFECTLY! Emily is amazing at what she does. It’s an added bonus that all of her flowers are ethically sourced. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a florist for their wedding!
