(February 5, 2014, 6:31 pm)I am at the interviewing stage for my Mother with Alzheimer's type dementia. Christine Brooks was positive, encouraging, and obviously understands the normal progression of dementia. The residents at Brooks House appear to enjoy companionship with others and purpose in their daily life. Everyone there seemed content and well cared-for. The place is clean with private rooms (shared bath per 2 rooms) and a common social area and dining room. I was convinced, after spending some time at Brooks House, that they understand dementia and they would make sure that residents feel valued and appreciated.
