Very good and awesome
All the teachers i have met so far has been nice a welcoming
Mat Yoga
I am extremely uncoordinated and not very athletic. I only push myself to be somewhat fit because my mother was a high school gym teacher and lifelong fitness addict. Yoga is not as boring as a gym work out, with the instructors soothing voice and background music. I also do not have to plan my workout as the instructor has done the planning.
Instructors are excellent, patient and keep me focused on my breathing. They name and explain every position. They totally understand that new people will have trouble completing some positions.
Ask about the new student pricing. It is a fantastic value! Unlimited classes for one month will to get you up and running quickly.
Classrooms are ample and roomy, yet class sizes allow for individual attention. Parking is in a nice sized lot.
I highly recommend Whitney Vickers, Dawn Luker, and Liz Hay as instructors.
Aerial yoga
I have found that aerial yoga is less frightening with the hammock to support more difficult moves. You can get more extreme stretches with the additional support.
I have not yet mastered the inversions but the instructors are very encouraging and helpful. I’m not giving up.
Best of all, the hammock wraps you in your own little cocoon for a gently swaying savasana, so you can float out of this class both relaxed and fulfilled.
This was my first time visiting this location since Day Yoga took over (formerly: Innerlight Yoga). It seems like they have about the same setup as before -- and it's great!
If you already have pre-paids, the online pre-registration is easy (then you just show up, sign in and you're good to go). You can pay at the front for walk-ins, too (I haven't seen any of the classes full to the max capacity).
They usually only have the instructor working, so they open the doors about 15 minutes before class starts, sign everyone in, lock the front door (so your stuff is safe), and then start class.
The instructors are always friendly and super knowledgeable. there were a couple poses i forgot, but she walked us all through it, and then came straight over and helped me fine tune my alignment. it was very helpful!
