We really enjoyed this place. Pizza is really good. Prices are reasonable. They have a good selection. Service is great. Nice location. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great food and really good with allergies (gluten free). If your in the area and craving pizza you got to come check Old Scratch out.
I've been meaning to check this place out since I moved here in 2022. I love Neapolitan pizza and was recommended this place by a lot of coworkers since they know I review pizza restaurants. With that being said, the pizza was fresh and well-balanced. Savory sauce, crispy pepperoni, and foldable crust. Definitely one of the best tasting pizzas I've had in the Dayton area. My margarita was perfectly mixed and tasted exactly as I make them at home. I deducted a star due to a cold, uninviting environment and staff. Also, the prices are way too high for such a small portion of pizza. $65 for two personal pizzas, one house salad, a bottle of beer, and one margarita. I would maybe come here again alone to make it cheaper, but I'll most likely stick with a cheaper restaurant.
Stopped on to Old Scratch pizza to try out the food. We tried a deluxe and a pepperoni & onion. The pizza came pretty fast. The crust was nice and chewy but my deluxe was a little moist in the middle. Just a little floppy. I would have liked a bit more sauce but I think that would have made the crust a little more soggy. Taste is good. Plenty of toppings. The pepperoni is a little spicy. The sausage has a good spice blend. Overall a good bite of pizza even with the crust. The store is really nice inside. Clean and comfortable. Everyone is polite and helpful. I think I would like to try it again with less toppings or maybe well done.
