When our cat was on the brink of death, God brought Dr. Barbara into our lives, a highly experienced and kind-hearted angel in her profession. We are grateful to her and her team, as well as to Kelly from Blue's Mews Cat Rescue who directed us there.🙏🙏❤️❤️
Dr. Barbara Gleason saved the life of my cat. Emergency Surgery was required. She and her staff are awesome. Dr. Gleason explained everything and provided lots of encouragement. I don’t think you can find a finer practice.
This pet clinic is outstanding! I was concerned because my cat was shaking his head and they were able to see him within hours and come up with a plan of treatment. The staff is professional and friendly; plus, Dr. Barbara has the best bedside manner for pets as well as for their human companions. Kelvin is going to get ear medicine twice a day and Dr. Barbara demonstrated on one ear and had me administer the medicine in the other ear to make sure I know how to do it right. It's obvious she loves animals and wants to do everything she can for them.
I have had nothing but wonderful interactions with Dr Gleason and the staff at VPC. We had a sickly cat and needed him in ASAP (that I've had since a kitten and he was 12) that she got in when even the roads were closed due to weather over the Christmas break. Blood tests were run with cost being provided up front before any action taken to understand what we were in for. We were offered to send the labs out and wait or get the tests developed in house for an extra fee. Since he was sick, we wanted it sooner and they made it happen. With no answers due to lab work coming up fine, we returned back after trying a few methods suggested and a recheck with no additional fees. In the end, it was an aggressive cancer that took our cat. Dr Gleason hugged me and cried with me after we had to have him put down because his quality of life had gotten so bad that he wasn't eating, drinking, and was eliminating where he laid. Not only is she professional, but she understands the pain of losing a pet. I am moving to take all of my pets there.
For those who mention stuff about the facility, the house portion and the clinic are in separate areas and the clinic is super clean. Since it was all originally a house, they are working to renovate the clinic area to make it more fitting to what you'd expect. Over the last few months, they've changed the waiting room and office around to make it better for clients and staff. Please don't let the negative reviews from years back deter you as they are doing their best for you and your pets. I trust them with my pets without question.
