Spring Lakes is a pay lake, stocked once a month. Currently we are stocking catfish. Get your permits (daily or yearly) below."
This is a hidden gem of a park. The lakes are lovely. The fishing looked good, but it takes some sort of special permission to fish there. There is no play ground equipment but there are picnic tables. Be sure to avoid the cement trucks as you drive back to the park. July 2020 update...this is open and it is easy to maintain social distance. I always see people fishing. I like the ducks and geese.
(May 5, 2021, 10:45 pm)Good place to take the kids fishing. Plenty of room to space out, plus benches, and a small handicap accessible "pier" so everyone gets a chance to fish here.
