Kettering Health Urgent Care - Xenia

This place is an absolute lifesaver. I've had three emergencies on the weekend and they were able to help me out. Twice I had 0 wait time and once I only had to wait about 25 minutes. The nurse Tony is so personable and kind. Dr. Malokey is amazing and has fantastic bedside manner. The whole staff is awesome really. I highly recommend them!

From experience and observation, several things are apparent. Emergency and urgent care facilities are either terrible at triage, or have abandoned the practice. This from experience. Reading quips from the past 6 months confirms my suspicion.

They tell you to make an appointment. This should tell you all you need. Appointments are the LAST thing anyone should associate with a facility that deals with random medical crises. Time is a major factor in nearly every event, and spending it waiting for a bureacrat to find a form to fill out is bullshit.

I don't really blame the doctors and nurses. Much. They're only a small part of the problem, and some are trying to fix it. The real source is government, bureaucracy, politics, and 80% insurance companies.

I actually know how to fix it, but a lot of people will be unhappy with the solution. Mostly the people in the above paragraph. And I don't care.
