“In a world of horrible customer service this office is truly a shining example. I called three offices where more than a 45 minute wait just to pick up the phone. The information provided was wondering and varied. Some offices told me that they had a drop box but only opened on Tues and Thurs from. 12:30-3:30. The Middletown office told me 1) I couldn't get a replacement ss card for my minor that they were only processing new applications and I could wait until April when they opened. 2) Just to put my original documents in the drop box she said whether I chose to get my own envelope or just drop them in the box was my choice (xenia provides them) 3) when I expressed concern about my original documents it was stated that they would be dropped in the mail to me (xenia explained that they would be returned certified mail) How about some uniformity of service - knowledge and service?? The Xenia service office immediately picked up the phone - offered other documents I could use to secure the card for my son and explained the process of return certified mail for original documents and no restricted hours or days on their drop box. What a welcome surprise!! The other SS offices could take a lesson from this one - professional- courteous- knowledgeable and efficient!! Kudos 👏 well done and a heartfelt thank you for your help!! Keep up the great work. I will be following up with a letter to the Manager!”

“The staff on the testing side is so friendly and helpful. Of course it's a pretty stressful situation or is running pretty high taking kids to do their temp test and drivers exams and they have a very good group of people. Both driving instructors we dealt with we're very kind and very clear on their instructions. The other side has been super busy every time I have been in there and even watching people be annoyingly rude and short tempered they never appear to get annoyed and take it out on the next number. It seems like a very hard job where every other person wants to argue with them about what they need especially when there were signs everywhere stating what is needed. Just try and remember to be patient, they were all great about answering questions and helping us figure out what we need and what we can do online also. They are just people trying to do the best they can, I was more irritated at the customers in there. There is not a lot of seating for as busy is that location seems to be. And young people are not good at giving up their seat”
