Save Your Bees

Best honey ever! She had at least 30 different kinds of honey. I didn't know that many even existed. I got to sample as many different variations as I wanted. The owner is awesome! She was very informative and a great person to chat with. This place is also a non profit which is pretty cool. Its located in the Anderson, Mt. Washington area. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful little store. I was searching for a source for beeswax. I found not only the wax I sought but also a plethora of knowledge! The friendly owner shared her knowledge freely even though she sold what I was going to make for myself. The shop sells all sorts of honey and honey/bee related items. In addition to selling their own honey, they provide an outlet for other beekeepers to retail their products. They also offer classes and a space for private party rentals.

The best way to save bees is to support the beekeepers by buying their products, unless, of course, you have studied apiculture and have some non-suburban land! More harm can be done by trying to keep a hive if you don't recognize a mite infestation!

The owner of this lovely little shop is a true master craftsman. My wife and I love candles, honey, and other things of that sort; we’ve tried nearly every major retail brand, and several other local/handmade products, but the ones found in this store are the absolute best we’ve ever encountered by a long shot. Not only that, the owner is warm and friendly, passionate about her craft and always willing to share her knowledge with her patrons.

As we were checking out today, she told us that she’s “not in this business for the money” — I think the highest compliment I can give is affirming that statement. She’s not in business for the money; she’s in business to create, without compromise, the absolute best bee products possible, and she has succeeded in doing just that.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been 3 times this week to pick up unique gifts for friends and family as well as some items for myself. The owners are super helpful and very knowledgeable. The infused honeys are amazing! If you get a chance, please check out this local gem!
