Not bad place a little pricey for tix & food but overall a good place for a family day or outing
A few animals were missing due to covid but it was still nice for.my first time
It was my first time visiting and for a smaller than space than Columbus it was a very enjoyable visit. Even with covid-19 going on and social distancing in place I felt I was able to enjoy my visit and see the park in its fullest. Animals seemed very happy and relaxed. Layout of park was a little daunting, but considering the size of the total area it was well sectioned.
It was a very enjoyable experience. We were able to see most of the animals even though it was very hot. It was very clean and well maintained and the animals were well cared for. Some exhibits were closed due to covid. The layout of the zoo was a little confusing and we didn't see any hand held maps. I would recommend to others visiting this zoo though. It is a lot of walking so be prepared.
This is a great all-around zoo. Kids usually love the Gorillas an insect house (which are now open even during Covid). Masks are not required outside, which is nice. There are these little green boxes around the zoo that you can buy a key for in the gift shops. The keys are only $3 (with a membership) and kids love finding the green boxes, which share information about the animals.
