“Why I chose The Legacy Memory Care at Wellspring When one is faced with a decision to move a love one to an Alzheimer’s care facility, it is quite traumatic experience. In essence you are handling your loved one to the permanent care of others. You can do all the research you want, and you will find someone who loves a facility and someone who does not. The key for me was mainly the staff and secondly the cleanliness / maintenance of the facility and last but not least were activities offered for their patients to be engaged as long as possible during their stay. Remember the decision you make is as much for you as it is for your loved one. I started with Wellspring as a daycare for my wife 3 days a week for several hours. This was a great program for me because the transition was more for me than my wife to feel confident she was in good hands. Wellspring Memory Care has wonderful friendly staff and responsive management to any of my concerns or questions that may develop. I know my wife is in better care than I could ever offer. In essence, I am relaxed, my wife is in great hands because of the trust and care of the staff that takes care of her.”

The staff here is so caring to patient and family members. I can not come up with the words to express my gratitude towards each and everyone of them. These are the most caring people that I have ever came acrossed in my life. I am sorry for any families who have to go through this situation, but they sure do help get you through the process of this transaction. So for any families who do have to go through this ruff time I could not recommend a better place for them to be at. “Dr. Kapteyn is a very good back doctor, he helped me avoid back surgery. I had 3 herniated discs L3, L4, L5 and a pinched nerve according to my MRI. The sciatica was hell for months until I received a epidural injection from this doctor and I am not kidding when i say I am fine now. Don't do surgery without at least talking with his staff first. The UC Health Care was great in assisting me financially as well, but that was before the obamascare and I am not sure if things have changed.”
