French Park

I grew up in Amberly been going to this park all my life found my first fossil in the creek there!
Have to say Cincinnati park service taking over this park has added Great improvements to the trail system. Gorgeous place the old Mansion is available for weddings too!

This is a gem of a park and one of my family's favorite spots for a quick hike. It is great for all ages with wooded trails and a creek plus a large lawn for flying kites (when there are not weddings happening nearby). There are also a couple of geocaches here if that is of interest. I usually bring binoculars and waterproof shoes because there are several spots along the wooded trail where stream crossing seems inevitable (There are rocks to step on but I never trust my footing 100%).

Great park! Has a variety of trails and wild life. Was a bit busier than expected but beautiful even still

Amazing trail. Beautiful scenery. Well maintained trails for hiking. The creek along the walk was fun for kids. There were muddy puddles in patches. So boots are must in rainy days.

There are some nice trails here. The trail following the creek was nice and peaceful. The only problem is that some parts of the trails got extremely muddy, downright dangerous even. There were a few sections where the entire trail was covered in thick mud. Your experience may vary depending on the weather, of course, but you may not want to come here too soon after rain. Overall though it's a great park and the trails are not too challenging.
