We have stayed here before in deluxe cabins, but those have been removed. The rustic cabins have AC and power, and can sleep 5 adults (2 twins, a full and a twin bunk above the full). There is plenty of room for a queen air mattress or an additional table if you bring one. Porch has two plastic chairs, not most comfortable. There is a fire ring and picnic table. The camp ground is very well maintained, has a good playground. One shower house for everyone, but it has great water pressure and water temps. Lots of things to do in the park to keep kids and adults happy and busy. The camp sites are really nice and shaded
The RV sites are level and they do have full hookup sites available and a dump station. Definitely worth a stay however you can manage it, even as a weekend get a way if you are local.
Winton Woods is THE BEST! I power-walk the place regularly, such a comfortable trail! The kids have a water park just for them. You can get a great ice cream cone. Go peddle boat on the lake or go with others on the ferry. Fishing, picnics, biking, even horseback riding. This place has it all!
Nice wooded place. Good trails. Nice quiet place to go and take a walk. Has a paved walkway for a smooth surface to walk on can get very busy on nice weather days.Do need a park pass for $10 good all this year. Rather use wooded trails myself.
We had a great time The 3 young kids who played with us Was the most fun I've had playing Frisbee golf I wish the people playing with us had more patience for the young kids who were just learning how to play. Patience is a virtue and I see some of the older players don't have that going on!!! But I've been coming here since the nineties and this being one of the original golf courses for Frisbee golf in Ohio it's still fun for all ages and remember the young ones or our future.
Regarding the disc golf course only: mostly covered by trees, which is nice in the middle of summer. Lots of "tree corridor" kind of fairways. The most generous par in the region, that I know of. If you want to feel like a hero, play this course!
