Nice place to walk the dog and nature

Our two grandkids, 14 and 16 just loved the pool under the waterfall. Water temp was pleasant. Spent several hours without getting bored or missing their media.

Gorgeous wildlife sanctuary with some nice views and waterfalls. A lot of people have issues with parking but there are two locations to pull off the road and park. The steep curve on Sheits Road right by the highway has a decent size pull off area to park multiple cars. There is another pull off less than 0.5 miles down the road on the opposite side of the road that could fit a few cars as well. There are a couple unofficial trails that lead to the waterfalls and the top of the hill that overlooks a major portion of the sanctuary.

Natural. Totally undeveloped. No sign of human life. Just what we like. The grandkids loved playing in the clear creek.

My wife went here today with our grandchildren and had a delightful time. The creek is perfect for wading and all the children enjoyed themselves. Insofar as parking there is a turn out by the side of the road and there are rough steps down to the creek. She said it was quiet and peaceful and beautiful.
