Dr. Anthony R. Whitaker, MD

My psychiatrist for 6 years, who actually gave me real advice, wasn’t just constantly changing my medications. We worked on so much during his time at PPS! He helped me see things a lot better. Actually DID remember me, and my kids, and my situation. He cares!! I hope I can find Dr. Whitaker again because hands down 🙌 he is the best. I know many others that would agree.

Dr. Whitaker has been my psychiatrist for 7 years now. He has always been extremely friendly and professional. I love the way he explains things...even if I’m talking about my other health issues. Or my mom’s health issues once I became her full time caregiver after a dementia diagnosis. He has always been cheerful and a great listener. After lots of different combinations, he was able to find a perfect mix of meds that have my symptoms under control and feeling better then I have in a long time. The new office and the system they use has cut down on wait times and is a beautiful waiting area with fish tanks and comfortable seating. The attached pharmacy makes it so convenient to finish my appointment with Dr. Whitaker and then walk right over and my meds are ready. I’m so grateful to have a dedicated doctor to my complex mental and physical health issues.

Dr. Whitaker is a very good Psychiatrist. He has managed my medications for over 2 years. He is very personable and is easy to get along with. His patients should consider themselves lucky to have such a caring and knowledgeable physician treating them.
