  My husband and I had such a great time, even though his horse was a little stubborn LOL!! The weather that day was absolutely beautiful not to mention the trees were in their glory with such beautiful colors. Our wrangler, Rhonda was so knowledgeable about the trail, and just a lot of fun. We were with 2 other couples who were fun to be with. I would highly recommend The spotted horse ranch for your next horseback ride. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff, horses are beautiful, did I mention they are Appaloosas. Thank you Rhonda for an amazing day! My birthday was complete! Give Sugar and Maverick big hugs from us!

  I absolutely loved my two-hour ride with my guide Theresa. Two hour rides are $70 and you get a beautiful ride through the hills of their property. There are some steep uphills and downhills to make the ride fun. Theresa is an excellent guide and I felt relaxed and safe. Great for all experience riders. I’ve already recommended to anyone asking for a great place to ride!

  Had a great time at spotted horse ranch! Our wrangler she was awesome!All the animals you can tell they were well loved and taken care of❤️If we ever want to go horseback riding again it will be definitely here again!

  My husband and I and our two kids (age 9&10) just went today for a 2 hour ride. Rhonda was our wrangler. She was awesome from the get go. We had such a great time today, time seemed to fly by! We were all beginners and felt very comfortable throughout the experience. Beautiful scenery and you can tell that the horses are loved. we are very happy with our trip and we can’t wait to do it again!

  This is part one of a two-part review. I went and visited the Spotted Horse Ranch ahead of booking to ride and was pleasantly surprised by many extra features!!! The entrance sign is very large and google maps took me right there!! Hocking Hills is loaded with well, hills and tons of windy roads but zero problems getting there. Just allow extra time. Next this ranch is over 500 acres!! It is a working farm with endless animals plus 30 horses!! There are cows in one field at the foothills by the office. All 30 horses are gorgeous appaloosas, and there are 15 wonderful turkey!! There are sheep, lambs, pigs tons of chicken running around everywhere....and...water buffalo?! The view at the top of the hill where the horse barn is is amazing! I would suggest making sure you get there early and be prepared in case they are running late. When working with animals, things aren't always easy to keep on schedule. There are over 30 miles of trails They also allow you to camp and bring your own horses to ride. Campsites have electric and water for your horse. Flush toilets and showers are available for campers. Pull in, go to the top of the hill and turn right to find the office/cabin. You can host birthday parties at the cabin, too! They are located within a short drive (20-30 mins) of all the Hocking Hills trails etc. Ellie is the office manager and jack-of-all-trades and knows this business like the back of her hand! She can answer all your questions via calling or sending messages thru their fb page! I will update again after we ride their horses! Cannot wait!!!!!!
