I am currently enrolled in a four week course with Dr. Davis. If you are looking to improve your chess game and knowledge level, then look no further. Dr. Davis has a very unique gift. He can assess exactly where you are with your game and apply the correct amount of instruction. I couldn't be more pleased with how my chess game has improved and it's only been a week. Make no mistake, it is a direct result of the amount of effort I have put into it as well. But had it not been for his keen sense of where I am with my game and the knowledge he has presented, I'd have never been able to achieve this growth. Dr. Davis I thank you sincerely and can't wait to see what else I uncover with you as my Coach.

Dr. Davis is a highly effective instructor. His wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the game of chess combined with his teaching style make it very easy to learn. He provides an incredible amount of information, but is also in constant contact with his students to ensure that they are not being overwhelmed. It is very easy to see that he has a passion for both the game of chess, and for teaching. I cannot recommend Dr. Davis' training enough!

An outstanding chess instructor! His teaching is clear and thorough. Dr. Davis is very well organized and complete in his teaching of chess. He is patient with all his students, especially the young players and works hard to help them learn and enjoy playing chess. He makes sure the student knows the material before moving on to another facet of chess.
