As a parent, teacher and as an elementary school principal, we absolutely love Hershey Montessori. Not only are the teachers/guides phenomenal educators, they also provide tremendous family support. I look forward to watching our son grow into a responsible little kid while at Hershey.
Choosing the right educational environment for your child can be difficult and as a parent, it is one of the toughest decisions to make! From the moment you arrive at Hershey Montessori School, you can feel the warmth and energy of the community. The school employs a dedicated, enthusiastic, and engaged faculty and staff who also care deeply for and respect children. High academics at the preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school level are offered and lay a foundation for motivating a child to love learning for the sake of learning. My three children are challenged to make independent decisions, care for their peers, and care for the world around them. How many schools can say they nurture the spirit and potential of each individual child? My family is so grateful to partner with Hershey in our three children's education journey!
I continue to be awed and inspired by the children and adolescents that attend or have attended Hershey Montessori School. They are truly getting "real education" that parents in today's ever-changing school climate seek for their children. Academically and in their intangible skills - I have observed students leaving Hershey Montessori as independent, articulate, collaborative, intellectually curious problem solvers and critical thinkers who not only inspire me, but inspire others.
This school changed my life. I started here at age 3.5 in children's house and graduated from the Farm School (adolescent program) in 2005 at age 14. All of my friends who went to public schools after the Farm were well ahead of their new peers and had a very different take on education, let alone the world, overall. Montessori is truly an educational experience like no other.
