Hidden Lake

Great views. They have a bunch of trails behind the large lake. These trails are all grass but were not muddy at all.

Love going here any time of the year. There's a great walking path around the lake (if you can find it, lol 😉) and we really enjoy talking our kids and dog to walk around. Best of all, it's free!

A hidden gem! We visited totally on a whim just because we saw the sign on our way to the Lake Erie Bluffs and we decided to check it out. What a pretty little lake! Nice wooded trail and picnic areas. Lots of people fishing and kayaking. And if you are into archwry there is a nice archery range too. We will be back 😊

Great fishing spot. I haven't ventured out onto the trails but the lake paths are very nice and clean and well maintained.

This park has a lovely trail around the lake that isn't too long, maybe a mile or so. It is pretty easy for the most part except for one hill that might be a bit hard on the knees. There are offshoot trails heading to their archery course and nature center. Outhouse provided and water fountains, including one for the pups. I don't see a lot of running water in the parks out this way, so that was nice. They rent canoes and kayaks and have life preservers available too. Easy to paddle around. There is a camp site there to reserve with a wooden floor for your tent in case of rain, fire pit, charcoal grill and supply of firewood. They have picnic tables around the lake, too, with charcoal grills. Lots of options and super quiet.
