Came to play disc golf at the course here, and we picked a rather windy day for it! The course itself is cool, goes through the woods some, by the river, very scenic, but still with an open park feel. There was a football game going on, and lots of people when we went, so just beware when throwing. Make sure you look out for those walking on the course! It's November, so everything was still really pretty, but there were a lot of leaves on the ground. And some parts of the course were still super wet and soggy. We didn't have enough daylight to play past hole 8, but we will definitely come back to play the full thing! Summertime is probably the best time for the disc golf course, but it was still a beautiful day for the park!
1st time there, it's a nice park, the Harvey baseball field was well maintained.
Nice playground. There is a pond and the Grand river runs behind it. Skateboarding area, pavilion large grills. Overall a very nice gem
This park is near downtown Painesville. While many people think of it as where the local HS plays football. baseball and other sport there is more here.
Frisbee golf, kids playground equipment, a fishing pond and even a Deck hockey rink call this park home. There even have some walking trails along the Grand River.
Nice local park. Lots of baseball and softball fields, playground for smaller children, short jogging trail with exercise stations overlooking the river, ample parking, roller hockey rink, fishing pond, skate park, and a football stadium with a track. Only downside of this place is roads are run down and could use resurfacing and the track is often locked and not open to the public. There also tends to be some kind of questionable characters hanging around this park on a fairly regular basis. I've never felt unsafe here, but I would keep a close eye on small children and just be aware of surroundings here. The park is pretty well maintained and patrolled by cops on a pretty regular basis.
