The librarian showed us around, interacted with the children and had wonderful recommendations. It wasn't just the great selection or the way it was clearly organized, it was the environment. It is the type of place you want to spend the afternoon. The large libraries have started to seem inconveninced by people and sterile....not the Alexandria Public Library. We have found our library home and it is worth a drive.”
