Stopped in just before 10am and had a fantastic bowl of French onion, and a Ruben with a side of coleslaw. Hostess was very pleasant. Server was super prompt, very pleasant and quite in the ball! Food, service, and atmosphere were great! Ty for a fabulous early lunch! Made my day!
This restaurant is one of two owned by the same family in our region. Considering that they have a staff shortage, I was surprised at the speed with which our orders were taken and served. The main drawbacks were:. The soups weren't hot, the French onion soup was way to salty and the young waiter didn't hear that we wanted to split our fried perch dinner, but brought 2 dinners instead. He was very personable and did try to do his best, however. Over all, our experience was good but not great.
The food is good and plentiful. The waitress was very good. I was there for about an hour and fifteen minutes. The waitress did not stop. She had several tables and she took great care of each table with heartfelt kindness and was so fast and efficient.
I have eaten here a total of three times since I moved back to Ohio and the food has been good every time so far. Place is clean. Service can be a little slow sometimes as waitresses can get very busy, especially when customers are waiting for tables. Overall I think it's a good family style restaurant. Prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. Serving sizes have been more than i could possibly eat every time. Very good local restaurant!
Was apprehensive about this place after reading the reviews, but it turned out to be one of the best omelets I've ever had.
There were five of us in our party across three generations and everyone loved their meals. That's rare for me, usually my favorite restaurants aren't appealing to my grandparents generation and vice versa.
Everyone got their toast. The eggs were cooked correctly, nothing was burnt or overcooked. My omelet was so fluffy. I asked for Ham, Spinach, Swiss, and Tomato. It was so good!
Highly recommend. Will be back.
