East River Coin Laundry

I absolutely adore this laundry mat, the coin machine is in the grocery store but it's maybe a one minute walk and they allow for an app so you don't need quarters. It's always clean and warm and peaceful. I will be there every laundry day.

I am here on Christmas to do 7 loads of laundry (almost everything we have) because our pipes bursted. This laundry mat is open and available for use and I’m really grateful! It is not very clean in the facility itself, but all of the washers and dryers seem wiped out and clean. The loads are super fast too! I had to do a couple rounds for the dryer cycles, but it only takes about 15 minutes for each cycle. For my first time at a laundry mat, I am very content with what this places offers. Best part: you can pay for the washer machines via an app on your phone!

My main line was blocked up and it was going to be a few days before I could get a plumber out. We desperately needed some laundry so I loaded up and headed to East River Coin Laundry because it's the closest laundromat to my home. The owners of East River Coin Laundry also own the convention store in the same plaza and they provided a change machine at the store which was very convenient. The laundry facility is nothing fancy but it was tidy. The set up was convenient and the prices were fair. I was able to wash and dry six loads for around $21 in just over an hour. Even now that my plumbing is fixed I would go back to catch up quickly on a heavy laundry week. I was there around closing so an employee came in to straighten the place up. She was friendly and offered her help loading my car back up. It was after dark but the building was well lit and with the store near by I felt safe. It was easily my best laundromat experience.
