“Driving to this restaurant is literally like driving to a once-busy waterfront. Boats and vessels all around, an industrial feel to the area. The spacious red-brick building itself in former ship yard. It houses an event center and a restaurant: The Boiler Room. The lively atmosphere is a cross between an English pub (with high ceilings) and a family restaurant. The menu had tempting meat and fish dishes. We had been driving all day, eating roadstop food, and opted for side dishes. I had ginger rice, cauliflower mash and Brussels sprouts. My husband ordered the soup of the day - an onion soup and the hummus platter. The sides were great, the cauliflower mash tasted like garlic mashed potatoes and the Brussels sprouts were fresh and well seasoned . The soup tasted fresh with just enough salt. The staff was professional and helpful, they even carried our forgotten charge card to us in the car before we left the parking lot!”

And the cashier was helpful and actually saved me money by signing me up for the rewards program. Now the outside and overall structure could use a face lift but I know times are tough with covid so It is what it is. The coffee was hot and they have alot of flavoring choices. The milk was Borden dairy and was no were near expiration.”
