While I don’t have anything negative to say about snip its up the street I did feel like Sharkey’s gave a better experience and has more versatility in their seating arrangements to make your child comfortable. Additionally I was able to get in at 9am very easily on a Saturday whereas snip its didn’t have an opening until 10:30 the same morning. That alone was worth the few extra bucks I paid to have my son's hair cut”

My son has sensory issues and from the moment we stepped in the door his stylist Kristy was absolutely amazing with him. They were so attentive to him, made him laugh, let him be apart of his own haircut, and was so patient and understanding of him. Haircuts have always been very traumatic for my son, and always ends in a huge sensory overload meltdown with lots of tears. so we go so long in between cuts but we will be regularly seeing Kristy as often as we can!
